This page explains how to delete your Tap Counter Pro account (com.kaitoo.tapcounterpro) and everything stored with it. There are two routes: from inside the app, or by e-mail.
Not sure whether you have an account? Tap Counter Pro does not require one. If you have never signed in, there is nothing on our side to delete — your counters exist only on your phone, and uninstalling the app removes them.
This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.
The app deletes your account and your cloud backup, signs you out, and clears the counter data stored on that device. Local data is only cleared once the server confirms the account is gone — if the deletion fails, nothing on your phone is touched and you can try again.
If you cannot open the app — for example you have uninstalled it, changed device, or cannot sign in — send a deletion request instead.
E-mail tapcounterpro@gmail.com
Please send it from the e-mail address the account was created with, and include:
Sending from the account's own address is how the request is verified. If you write from a different address, you may be asked for something else that confirms the account is yours before anything is deleted — this is to stop someone else deleting your data.
Requests are handled by the developer personally. We aim to confirm within a few days and to complete deletion within 30 days of verifying the request.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your account user ID, e-mail address, sign-in credentials or linked Google identity |
Deleted. The account record is removed from the authentication system and you can no longer sign in with it. |
| Your cloud backup counters and their names, tap history, daily summaries, groups, reminder times |
Deleted. The backup row is owned by your account and is removed together with it. |
| Counters, groups, history and app settings stored on your device | Removed from that device by the in-app flow, along with the widget binding, and any scheduled daily reminders are cancelled. The e-mail route cannot reach your phone — see below. |
| Session tokens on your device | Cleared when you are signed out by the deletion. |
If you delete by e-mail, delete the local copy too. Counter data lives on your phone independently of any account, so an e-mail request removes the account and the cloud backup but cannot touch your device. To clear the device as well, uninstall the app, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Tap Counter Pro → Storage → Clear storage.
Deletion is permanent and there is no recovery. If you want to keep your counting history, open Settings in the app and export a backup file first. You can import it again later on any device.
